We absolutely love making fresh pasta! It’s actually really quick once you’ve done it a couple of times, really fun and only a couple of ingredients.
Ingredient per person:
100g 00 pasta flour (double zero)
Step 1: Make a well with the flour on a surface or bowl and crack the eggs into it. Make sure to whisk up the eggs.
Step 2: Using a fork slowly add the flour to the eggs making a dough.
Step 3: Once it is all combined, knead the dough. Knead it for about ten minutes until it is nice and smooth!
Step 4: You should then rest the dough, place in clingfilm in the fridge for at least half an hour.
Whether you have a pasta machine, or roll it out with a rolling pin and cut it yourself, it will be absolutely delicious!
We had ours with a simple tomato and basil sauce, but this is just one of our many favourites!
