Porridge bread 🍞🥖🥪



This recipe is an absolute family favourite! A delicious loaf made with porridge oats and natural yoghurt. It is absolutely delicious for a breakfast alternative toasted and topped with fruit, great as a snack throughout the day or at lunchtime (love having it with soup!!).



Ingredients:

  • 1 large tub of natural yoghurt (500g)

  • 2 large tubs of porridge oats (using the yoghurt tub as a measure for this)

  • Handful of chopped nuts/assorted seeds (some leftover for the top as well)

  • Pinch of salt

  • 2 tsp bicarbonate of soda


1. Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees.


2. Mix all the ingredients together well in a bowl.


3. Grease the loaf tin, place the mixture in the loaf tin and sprinkle with remaining seeds or chopped nuts.


4. Bake for 50 minutes.
